that Sayyid Shirazi had died this morning. From being involved in and reading
some of his works in English I have been touched by and gained much
from his knowledge of Islam. He has helped me to find my own feet
in terms of taking Islam out into the non-Muslim world and asserting its
validity in this modern god-less environment, by giving me an understanding
of the most simple aspects of Islam and Islamic law. By the grace of Allah who gave him the
ability to write so many books, may we all gain benefit from that legacy of
literary works he has left for us. May his works stand in his
favour when his book of deeds are read on the day of judgement and may
they serve as his testimony of his love toward his Creator (swt), his
Prophet, his progeny and our Living Imam (peace be upon them all.) May we all pray for his deeds to
be accepted by Allah and also for his safe arrival into the proximity of

hadith for this week to celebrate the coming of the first of Shawwal and the
commemmerations of 'Eid al-Fitr, we received the tragic news of the death of
one of the senior and high ranking Maraa'ja Taqlid of the Shi'a world - none
other than the late Ayatullah al-Uzma al-Hajj as-Sayyid Muhammad al-Husaini
as-Shirazi [May Allah raise his rank in Paradise]. Where as for this
grand Marja and his noble soul, it is an honour and pleasure to be called
back to his Lord - both him being pleased with his Lord, and the
Lord too being pleased with His creation - for the Shi'a of 'Ali
ibn Abi Talib [peace be upon him] and for our living Imam, Saahib
al-'Asr wa al-Zaman [may Allah hasten his return] who laments and
cries for fourty days after the death of a true 'Alim, it is a tragic day of
grief and sorrow. We ask the Mo'mineen to remember the Sayyid in their
prayers and if you are not able to perform the Salat al-Wahshat, then you are
recommended to take some Sadaqah out in his name for the reward of his soul. May Allah hasten the
return of our Living Imam to fill the world with justice and equality as it
is filled with evil, oppression and tyranny. Was Salaam 'Alaikum, Saleem Bhimji Death of Imam is the
greatest loss to Muslim community and Shi’a Muslims. It takes ages to produce
a man of his grand stature and calibre. His knowledge and spirituality
enlightened the lives of millions of followers like me. He was a leader of
his own unique kind and grandeur. He was a teacher, philosopher,
revolutionary, reformist, peace lover and above all a Mujtahid a
"Marja-i-Azam" of this time. His writings and sayings would serve
as a beacon for all the generations to come. May Allah rest his great soul in

of Ayatullah Al Uzma Syed Mohammad Shirazi (A.M). The Shi’a
world lost their benevolent leader and trustee. The

In the honor of the
untimely demise of Ayatullah Sayyidd Muhammad Shirazi, Three days of
Al-Fatehah and Salat started at the Kufa Center of Islamic Knowledge
(KCIK). The Glorious Qur'an says: "Every soul shall taste of death;
Then unto Us (only) ye shall (all) be returned." 29: 57 Ayatullah AlShirazi died in the age of 74 years.
Her spirit still lives in the minds of his family, relatives, and those who
had contacted with him, especially brothers Ayatollah Sayyid Saadiq and
Mujtaba, and sons Ayatollah SayyidMurtaza Ayatollah
Shirazi is the dearest to those who recognized him as a scholar and he has
published books in Knowledge, Learning and Wisdom. he also played an
essential and vital role performing Islamic propagation ‘Dawah. Prophet
Muhammad (Sallallahu Alayhi Waalihi Wa Salam) said about scholars who were
teaching and education the society, “When a scholar die, the world has died.” Ayatullah Shirazi followed the footsteps of his
grandfather Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alayhi Waalihi Wa Salam) to teach
and to be able to help the orphans, and the poor all around the world. May
Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta'Ala) bless his departed soul, shroud him with mercy
and forgiveness, and grant him company with the righteous, and appoint for
him the gardens of Paradise, and rest his soul in peace, and join his soul
with those of the true believers, “And join me with the righteous.” O'
Lord, reward him for his goodness, Ameen. The KCIK and the editors of the AL-KUFA

followers of this beautiful soul of man that has just left us and I had the
