The Grave that is still Empty!

Ayatollah al-Udhma al-Imam Sayyid Muhammad Shirazi had stipulated in his Will that he be buried in the Musalla - the Prayer Hall - of his house, in the spot where he used to lead the prayers and deliver his speeches to the public, and deliver his lecture to advanced theology students attending his Dars al-Kharij.

. . . eventually after the prayer 'Salaat al-Mayyet' was performed, led by Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Saadiq al-Shirazi, in vicinity of the shrine of Lady Fatima al-Ma'soumah in the holy City of Qum, the coffin was led away by the devotees and family members of the late Imam, heading towards his house.

Within a few hundred yards form Imam Shirazi's house, the Iranian special forces, and agents of the Iranian secret service - the Ittela'at - ambushed the funeral procession, attacking those carrying the coffin, in an attempt to seize the coffin. As a result of the assault, and in the mayhem that ensued, the coffin fell to the ground. The secret service agents smashed open the coffin, seized the body of the late Imam, bungled it in a mini bus and drove off !!! {snapshots of the moments of the abduction of the body Imam Shirazi.}

Later, it was claimed on Iranian state television that the body was buried in the vicinity of the shrine of Lady Ma'soumah.

The supposed burial was carried out without the consent or the presence of the family of Ayatollah al-Udhma al-Imam Sayyid Muhammad Shirazi. This is absolutely contrary to the will of the late Imam Shirazi, which was that he be buried in his own house, in the spot where he taught. In this respect Allah Almighty says:

{. . . whoever then changes it (the Will of the deceased) after he had heard it, the sin committed is that of those who change it, for indeed Allah is All-Hearing All-Knowing.}
